- tuwtuwtuwtuw 6y agoI doubt subreddit mods _wanted_ this behavior. This is akin to "Sorry this site only works in Internet Explorer 5" in my view.
- kbenson 6y agoYou would think that, but a year is a long time for an experiment to run. I suspect they could have asked reddit to move their experiment elsewhere at this point if they cared and it's actually an experiment still. Otherwise, it's not an experiment because there is no end, and it's just special behavior applied to one subreddit in perpetuity. You can still get data from that, but it's disingenuous to present it as an experiment (it could entirely be reddit being weird. I'd believe that as wel).
