Just got my 2nd Moderna appointment. I kept trying for weeks because the local health department mismanaged appointments (lost thousands too) and made it a free-for-all like a Black Friday. I think it was deplorable that they just didn't take requests from everyone who wanted it, prioritized them, and ran appointments as a lottery as inventory appeared. For people who don't want it long-term, emulate K-12 schools and vaccines policies: make the anti-vaxxers experience (or should) consequences as punishment for being irrational wingnuts.
