Just one datapoint, but we've had to cross the ARM bridge in the last couple of weeks after getting a few M1s. It's taken a lot of work getting all our dependencies compiling but now that we're there it's definitely compelling to start looking seriously at graviton2 machines for production. So it matters in that not everyone currently has tooling working for ARM, but Apple silicon is going to push that along real fast.
