Human cells grown in monkey embryos reignite ethics debate
- aiscapehumanity 6y agoEthicist suck. What even are they arguing about? Human purity? If they aren't concerned with just the viability of bringing to term a hybrid, and aren't prejudiced, and would accept such posthuman entities into our (dysfunctional at large) society, am I missing the point of what these 'ethicists' always argue about? Seems like we institutionalize lite bioconservatives who end up becoming medical policy aides or end up gatekeeping the normality index.
- aiscapehumanity 6y agoIf the concern of ethics is in organ harvesting, then lol. Firstly most of these researchers themselves are meat eaters. Secondly, human society is socially cannabalistic. But, the only way through this is dethroning the human monopoly which means the rise of ai and uplifted species
