I use SQLite for many of my applications, but definitely not for all of them. SQLite is probably not the right tool if you have concurrent access to the database, nor if you want to enforce database consistency through triggers. It is the perfect application if you need a database that you can easily move around, access from a single application and your use case is simply to load and dump data with no further transformation. Anything more than that requires an RDBMS.
