Ask HN: Does anyone else find auto-scroll annoying?

Everytime a website(e.g. Linkedin, Youtube, DuckDuckGo etc) auto-scrolls/infinite-scroll when I am browsing, I curse the designers! It is so annoying that you are almost at the end of the screen and the screen automatically scrolls pushing the content you are reading out of sight! Whoever came with this auto-scroll/infinite-scroll idea has an 'F' in UI design!
