what does that even do?
- Ndymium 6y agoIt adds a header "permissions-policy" to the HTTP response with the value "interest-cohort=()". This turns off the FLoC feature for the site in Google Chrome.
- berniemadoff69 6y agoim specifically asking about the nature of the value "interest-cohort=()" , it's being presented as some thing to just inject into your nginx conf file to make floc go away or whatever, but im wondering why the value needs to equal "()" etc.
- Ndymium 6y agoThe format of the Permissions-Policy header is roughly <permission>=(<allowlist>). An empty list allows no origins (not even the current page), so the feature is turned off.
