Ask HN: Is buying a .com worth it?
For the folks that made the decision to pay $$$ for the .com version of your domain, was it a worth it?
How did you justify the expense?

- GianFabien 6y agoI presume you are talking about buying a domain from a domain squatter. I wouldn't buy from a squatter. So far I have been able to come up with suitable domain names and use various means to get referrals based on suitable search terms, etc. I believe that people use a search engine more than they bother remembering domain names. Of course, I could be wrong.
