CCP does whatever it takes to expand economic influence and tighten their autocratic control. TLDR: CCP doesn't answer to the people. US gov at least has open elections. I agree that at this moment, a poor person in central africa should not care 1% between US and CCP. But for their descendants, yes they should care.
