I own both, and an Android phone. Unfortunately, I don't own a memory checker for HN. I test with Safari as well, I just forgot to add it to the list.

- tclancy 6y agoHave you considered adding a comment linter to your CI process for posting to HN? Or am I the only one with an end-to-end K8 driven process for comment quality?
- bombcar 6y agoI know this is sarcasm and I also know we’ll see a Show HN with just this in a few weeks (AI blockchain driven!)
- II2II 6y agoWell ... it is a good idea. When I reread some of my comments, I realize that I often drop words. A fair number of times the meaning is the opposite of what I intended to say. Those cases usually contradict the rest of my post so people should be able to figure out the intended meaning, but it would be nice if it didn't happen in the first place.
- bombcar 6y agoI’ve noticed that iPhone autocomplete has at least some rudimentary intelligence built in - at the “Spell a word a certain way a few times and it begins to not correct it” level. It’d be nice for that to improve (instead of always replacing “an” with “and”).
- carlhjerpe 6y agoMicrosofts SwiftKey has the same, it's incredible. And according to the app you can (and I have) opt out from sharing my typing data. Whwn I first encountered SwiftKey I just didn't understand how it could be as good as it is at predicting what I want to type. Even switching between Swedish and English (just by typing words from either language). Whenever I use someone else's phone (to show them how to use something) I feel handicapped, I guess I'm clumsy on the keyboard.
- tclancy 6y agoAs the author, I resist the idea it was a good idea.
