My iPhone is suffering the same problem ... which is why I have found this web site. Incidentally the Notification on Monday was to say that the Lockdown Status had changed. Overnight last night, with no Apps active, my iPhone 6 dropped from 100% to 60% (normally drops about 3%). The Activity by App in Battery Settings says Exposure Notifications have accounted for 45% of the battery usage in the last 24 hours. I am going to try to report it to the NHS Covid App Support.
