- julosflb 5y agoIdem. I developed quite a number of desktop apps in a professional environment using wxPython. I found easy to quickly prototype new ideas. Also, you have access to the rich python ecosystem that other solutions for producing desktop apps won't have. I found the API to be usable although the event system is bit limited in my opinion. I even chosen it to develop a commercial app in c++(https://seamuove.com https://seamuove.com) mainly because I knew the API. Bonus is that you can produce small single exe using static linking. Overall thanks for the effort dear wx team!
