I'd vastly prefer an app for this. Any plans ?

  Hmm. Frankly, no. The idea is to remove as many layers of complexity as possible. Presumably, you already have a phone number and messaging app that you use all of the time. No app downloads, registration or other configuration required. Definitely not for everyone. But I find myself failing at maintaining a writing/blogging habit too often. I couldn't think of anything simpler.
