New calculation of obscure particle's magnetism could dim hopes for new physics
- jfengel 6y agoThat would be disappointing but not surprising. The math of QCD is so hard that errors in the parts-per-billion range seemed more likely to come from mathematical shortcuts rather than massive new physics. Still... the overlap in the error range is so tiny that there could yet be something there. Seems like a fertile and solvable problem.
