That wastes a lot of my time as a call receiver. I'd rather the telephone companies do this for me instead. They could put together an automated service to receive calls from blacklisted numbers instead of just blocking them. That service would play along with the scam and keep them on the line as long as possible. A YouTuber my wife watches, Kitboga, tried something like that about a year ago[0].
