M1 can still achieve significantly better single-core performance. I think that matters more, when it comes to how "snappy" a computer feels.
- kllrnohj 6y agoAccording to the comparison the M1 has 10% faster single-core performance. That's not nothing, but it's not really "significantly better" or something you'll notice in day-to-day usage, either. But this is also just a single test result that's going to be far from comprehensive.
