That's awful behaviour! I've been researching NAS devices and until now, Synology has been on my preferred list. Reconsidering that position now - I've never heard of a company breaking something so significant with a minor version upgrade and without warning.
- sjansen 6y agoI’ve been thinking it was about time to replace my current Synology device, and until seeing this was planning on sticking with them. Now I’m hoping to see recommendations for an equally low maintenance replacement in the comments.
