Rust, not Firefox, is Mozilla's greatest industry contribution
- throwaway81523 6y agoIs there a good Rust vs Ada comparison by someone really clueful about both languages anywhere? I've only seen comparisons by people knowledgeable about one but not the other. Ada like C++ has a bunch of clumsy parts that you can ignore. If you use what is left, it feels very solid (I'm no expert but have tried a few things in it). I have far less understanding of Rust, but it seems to have a more modern type system yet be hackier in many other regards.
