I have some experience with this. My advice: pick the skill that you are absolutely strongest at from a specialist's viewpoint and interview for that role. Once you are in, you will find your generalist skills help you excel quickly. It is annoying that interviews can't capture broad skill sets, but it is also widely known. It means you have to prep! Dive deep and practice the well known interview questions for the specialty you pick.
