I should know better than to enter a debate of semantics, especially one that kicks off with something as paradoxical as "highly efficient vectors of meaning". However, those dirty practices that the author dismissed really do pile up and drag you like debt. If you don't deal with them, they get worse until you bust. If those things aren't technical debt, then what are they?
