- ggm 6y agoYes. according to the company history web page, co-founded by Philips, who sold down in the 90s and following years sold out. https://www.asml.com/en/company/about-asml/history https://www.asml.com/en/company/about-asml/history 29% ROI Year to date. nearly 500% on 5 years.
- Avalaxy 6y agoIf Philips would have held on to all the successful companies they spun off, they would now be worth 5 times as much. They were also one of the largest shareholders of TSMC when they started.
