I shared with them an idea I had at the time about the "usefulness" of drugs in terms of how much more productive or creative they make someone vs. how much damage they do to the body, putting them into a two-dimensional plane like the political matrix. Surprisingly, they told me that for every individual, they could place the same drugs into different quadrants on that plane.
