Ask HN: Platform for Independent Artists
I have a friend using onerpm to distribute his second instrumental rock album. He is super talented and his work speaks for itself: https://youtu.be/NLQ2bzWzJ8g Does HN's infinite wisdom know other places where he could display and possibly sell his work?

- jackgolding 6y ago+1 for bandcamp, I promote a lot of indie music and its the most fair payment you'll receive (see here: https://medium.com/@gloom303/a-year-ago-i-released-an-ep-on-spotify-itunes-and-bandcamp-this-is-what-i-l-earned-872925797930 https://medium.com/@gloom303/a-year-ago-i-released-an-ep-on-...) Other distribution strategies I don't know a "global" silver bullet, there are a lot of tastemaker youtube channels like "harakari diat" "stoned meadow of doom" that can help with promotion but won't earn you any income. Similar with getting on spotify playlists through distributors etc.
