- lanstin 6y agoBecause it's everywhere anyone cares about and isn't some weird thing like zsh or Lord forgive us tcsh. Also all of these modern are basically fancy wrappers around bash scripts. Even dockerfiles is just a way to run some shell commands at image build time and other shell commands at launch time. Much less puppet or ansible or user-data.sh ....
