Day-to-day, how does the system work for you? Aside from installation issues, is Tesla's app/etc. better or worse than the alternatives?
- michaelt 6y agoMy solar installation takes care of itself day-to-day - I don't really need an app. If you want to run your dryer when the solar panels are at their best, starting it on a simple timer will get you most of the benefit without any of that insecure IoT nonsense.
- dawnerd 6y agoWorks fine. Since I own a Model 3 it just made sense, they even threw in a free wall connector.
