> That being said, VoIP landline phones are still a part of many peoples’ lives. Cable and fiber optic providers continue to offer these services and many people, including my mom, still have them. I work from home and I still use a land line phone. I bought the best quality speakphone I could find and I don't regret it a minute. Cell phones just don't have the same voice quality, especially for speakerphone, as a land line. And I avoid doing voice over the computer because my computer is busy and I don't want to sound like a robot because it can't handle the workload.
