I think a lot of these predictions depend on your use case. Point and shoot...I have DSLR. I didn't have one 15 years ago. It's not for every day use, of course but I use it frequently. I can do so much more with it and the quality is so much better. Mouse...my parents/in-laws haven't used one in years since their main computer is a tablet Home phone? I installed one (VoIP) a few years ago. If I need to reach anyone at home I just have 1 number to call and I don't need to worry about phones having no battery, on silent etc...Also my kids (oldest is 4) and may need to reach me when they are older and for sure they aren't getting their own cellphone for a long time.
