This piece is pretty idiosyncratic and hard to get much out of. I'm sitting here charting a Phish tune for a band I'm in, and taking a break because I literally just wrote [Outro: Jam on I, 128 bars]... there are so many more modalities just in how I feel about writing something that dumb onto a piece of paper, much less the technological circumstances that surround that (both in terms of how the music comes to me and what I must do with that artifact to turn it into a performance) that the piece seems like trying to figure out what to make of the ocean from what I've got in my pail at the beach. I could 100% live without a streaming service, but it's kind of like bitching about the weather. It'll rain even if I don't care for being wet.
