Airplane takes off with less thrust after adults are assigned child's weight
- simonblack 6y agoI was taught to always use the maximum thrust possible when taking off. Save a buck or two on fuel and lose a whole plane? Absolute stupidity. In the unnamed country where the software is programmed, the title "Miss" is used for a child and "Ms" for an adult female. Cultural differences can be deadly and very expensive, just like using 'Imperial' measurements when 'Metric' measures are expected.
