I used to think that. As long as I can write code when I need to and I can inform designs and architectures, my company gets all the benefit of my programming skills as well as my team building skills.
- bsaul 6y agoi actually this is also the most productive way to use a senior developer : have him focus on helping the team design and architect software instead of coding everything himself, and help other people grow to his level.
