I thought the ADA didn't allow a cure to stop a lawsuit. once in violation there is an injured person who now has to be made whole regardless of other actions you take. Wasn't this one of the main reasons the ADA led to some lawyers to go fishing for violations?
- extra88 5y agoTypically in disability lawsuits, the plaintiffs are seeking nothing more than the problem be corrected and coverage of their court costs, they don't seek damages. Unfortunately, in recent years, there's been a spate of lawsuit trolls primarily interested in a cash settlement and don't care if the problem is corrected or not. There are examples of this over both online and physical violations.
