I agree with the post that software at scale is a big open question. What gives me hope is that there were successful mega projects though not about software.

I agree with the post that software at scale is a big open question. What gives me hope is that there were successful mega projects though not about software. Für example, I read about the Manhattan Project over Project Atlas to the Apollo Project. Those were all mega projects with high innovation and uncertainty like software development. I have no good theory what makes it successful though.
