I have zero sympathy for the shady Carlyle Group losing money. Go Taylor!

  What makes them shady? They purchased a product, which Taylor swift had previously sold to another company. I get that Taylor wanted to buy it back herself, but if anything is shady it’s her attempts to destroy the value of that product in bad faith, rather than simply negotiating with them to split whatever profits are in it.

    A buyer being too incompetent to perform basic due diligence on a deal worth hundreds of millions of dollars doesn’t constitute bad faith by her. A more accurate thing to say is that gross negligence or pure incompetence led someone to purchase a worthless asset.
