- sgpl 6y agoWhat I found really interesting was the translation: > "Alibaba just responded to the punishment: we sincerely accept it and obey it firmly. And the company will further enhance its compliance system." Really interesting take that a literal giant just accepted this as the best outcome and complied vs. I guess what we've come to expect in the West (even in India) - lawyering up and appeals upon appeals. I think someone also mentioned that this was approx. 4% of their domestic revenues (2019).
