I went to try this out, but didn't want to change the proxy settings for my entire browser (I'm interleaving work and screwing off here, need the "real" internet to still work).
So, feature request for Mozilla: Can I specify different proxy/DNS settings per container? All sorts of cool stuff could be enabled if I allowed one container type raw Internet access, and another one restricted through piHole type filtering, or a full on proxy server.
Using the port to specify year is neat. Although there is a Y64ki problem.
- LeoPanthera 5y agoYou can try it out on modern systems without using a proxy at all using the Netscape Simulator! http://theoldnet.com/browser/ http://theoldnet.com/browser/
- function_seven 5y agoPerfect. I just got a nostalgia shot from seeing those meteorites streaking across the Netscape logo as a page loaded. Thanks.
- omoikane 5y agoUnfortunately flash is not supported anymore, so zombo.com didn't work.

- pabs3 5y agoFoxyProxy can do something like that for domains, maybe that helps with containers too.
