  Favorite school snack "Mohrenkopflaugen": a weird chocolate-coated puffy sugar blob (this thing: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schokokuss https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schokokuss) squashed in a pretzel roll.

        I ate Brandt Zwieback as a kid in Swabia, I even looked a little like the kid on the box!

      Yes, grew up in Stuttgart but my parents are from the Berlin area so I didn't speak Swabian.

        Grew up in the area as well, but we had „Matschbrötchen“ which uses white rolls instead of Laugenbrötchen
