World’s smallest business jet is now the world’s fastest business jet
- ksec 6y agoI wonder if we will see AutoPilot Jet first before cars.
- sidpatil 6y agoGenerally speaking, we already do. That's why it's called autopilot.
- JZerf 6y agoThe title should really be changed to say that it's the world's fastest single engine business jet. Both Gulfstream and Bombardier make considerably faster twin engine business jets.
- sanguy 6y agoSadly this will never make it to commercial availability; unless they are bought out by one of the legacy aircraft manufacturing mafia.
- dzhiurgis 6y ago120 liters @ 700kmh = 17.1l per 100km or 13.7 MPG - not bad efficiency considering taking road the distance would be much longer!
- rasz 6y agoThis is a surprising figure considering similar plane using same engine has ~double consumption at ~half the speed. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cirrus_Vision_SF50 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cirrus_Vision_SF50
- perl4ever 6y agoAppearance reminds me of: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heinkel_He_162 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heinkel_He_162 (which I never knew until just now was "primarily made of wood" - an early flight was 520 mph, but problems with wood glue led to disaster)
