I wonder if it helped democracy if voters would be able to add "justification" to their vote. Then there would be less room for speculation about the reasons.
- mmcdermott 6y agoThe data would be nice, but it seems like this would have a chilling effect on the vote itself. The extra context of a justification would make it easier to tie votes to groups or even individuals. I'm not sure why, but polls as a separate, voluntary activity seem like a safer way to do it.
