Glad to hear the came through on pay. But a major part of compensation, if you are paid enough, is job satisfaction. If you can get the SAME or better pay, with more job satisfaction then I would consider doing that. But if your current job does not have you doing that, then they clearly do not believe you are ready, especially if it is 2 levels higher. From a boss perspective, why would they pay you a nice salary to do work below you, that is a waste of money .... I wish you the best.
