Plus, with full-disk encryption, I don't want my key getting written to disk so that anyone can get it until the end of time. I'm okay with my laptop powering down fully after sleeping for some amount of time.
- eMGm4D0zgUAVXc7 6y agoIf you use a swap file on the encrypted root partition then initramfstools will actually ask you to enter the password before it can resume from hibernation - the file is encrypted like everything else on the partition.
