- kaminar 6y agoOk this is interesting...not sure which corrupt Miami official (oh yessir they all are) is getting kickbacks on this, but it's big money...kind of like tearing down the Orange Bowl without permission, digging the port tunnel without permission, building the useless I95 flyover, etc etc. Billions of dollars are involved...and the article mentioned his father was mayor in the 80s and 90s... Ha! That was when corruption was open and cash was flowing even more obviously than today. Miami has had an internet NOC since the 90s, and real estate developers have the local government in their pockets...
