This is what happens when you incentivize your employees to patent anything imaginable and possible.
Similar to the Amazon "wage cage" patent that spawned so many memes and bad press.
- kache_ 6y agoWhen I worked at IBM, I was explicitly told that I would be surprised with what I could patent, and that I should patent things even if they seemed trivial. This went so against my ethos I quit and found another job.
