Instead of playing whack-a-mole trying to regulate tech, it would be, IMHO, more effective to regulate the outcomes we don't want. In this case, how about stronger privacy protection for employees/students (and people in general). Then it doesn't matter what crazy tech you come up with to "get around the AI regulation".
