One could argue that the US is already an Oligarchy or more accurately an 'Oligarchic Plutocracy' which has accomplished all of the above.

- js8 5y agoAnybody who refers to USA as "democracy"? There is a lot of politicians and even ordinary people who say that. Even I would refer to USA as democratic, but there is lot of evidence that the democratic component is pretty weak.
