Completely agree. If I had a dime for every project owner, project manager, team lead, or <insert made-up job title> I’ve worked with who has absolutely no technical experience or knowledge I’d have over a dollar already. These people invariably majored in something like english, dance, or music studies and then wind up doing project management because, as you pointed out, they’re after the money and no one is stopping them.
