Making more money isn't the only potential life improvement that is possible. Yes, there are things that a person working at Starbucks can learn that will still improve their lives, and make it more fulfilling: languages, philosophy and knowledge are often their own reward. Further, it seems obvious to me that hunting money is a fools game. If money made people happy, at some point, then why do billionaires push for tax cuts, and more power and wealth? As research is starting to show, wealth is an emotional hunger that you can never sate.
