>(Many) Youtube employees called for removal of the song. Oddly specific and too on the nose. Since when did YT employees become a lobby group for social causes? It should be noted that this was not a new song submitted to YouTube by the artiste, but rather a single for an album he made back in 2014. Taking out one song from the album renders the product incomplete, and I hope the same "cancellation" doesn't happen for audio streaming platforms. Maybe the same YT employees (ahem police) should go back to 1996 and cancel Eminem's songs. Prune everything on their database that is not up to snuff as per their new woke 2021 moral & social justice standards. Fuck youtube for playing with art like this. Fuck them very very much. Big tech keeps abusing their monopolistic advantage all the time. The internet needs a new bipartisan and independent video hosting platform. Am sick of all the censorship and cancellation that easily happens too often these days. History and culture should be preserved.
