Wouldn't people notice a difference between their actual understanding of the world and what gets past a particular filter? For example, people will still drive down the street and see fast food restaurants. Why would they not believe they exist just because they never show up when they search for a restaurant online? Just because you only see alternatives you like doesn't mean you forget there are alternatives you don't.
