There are a few foreign-language shows interesting enough for me to watch but it doesn't stop it from being a major downside. Subbed is an inconvenience but dubbing makes me feel like there's something wrong with my eyes or like I'm watching a desynced video file from 2005. I can't do it. A couple things like Kingdom eventually get watched but I can't imagine getting really excited for a new episode like I was with Game of Thrones or Chernobyl. It's simply not immersive enough for me. One also wonders which is happening faster, streaming services making Europeans more like each other or making Europeans more like Americans.
