The author is really making an argument for bypassing institutional inertia or vestigial process via tool selection rather than a robust argument for opinionated tooling... which is very easy to agree with. To the extent to which your org is incapable of making decisions, don’t force it to make dozens of low risk/low reward decisions! If you are able to move quickly, a better fitting puzzle piece may be more valuable.
